Combining 15+ years of knowledge and experience, Dr. Bri helps women with pelvic health challenges such as pelvic pain, tension, bladder issues, and prolapse. She uses a holistic approach that encompasses movement, nutrition, and mind-body medicine.
After two misdiagnoses from her midwife, Dr. Bri grew frustrated. She trusted her intuition and her expertise in Physical Therapy to discover that in fact she had a bladder prolapse.
Since she received little to no help from the medical community, Dr. Bri developed her own comprehensive program to heal the prolapse, and other symptoms she experienced like incontinence and a post-pregnancy tummy.
While Bri felt great physically, she struggled with anxiety and depression after her son’s birth.
Although she was eating a whole-foods, nutrient-dense diet, and exercising regularly, Dr. Bri did not feel great emotionally. And one day she found herself on the floor of her son’s bedroom, hysterically crying due to inexplicable sadness.
This was a major turning point for her. It began a very personal journey into a fascinating and important question — what effect does lifestyle have on health and happiness?
Seeking to answer this question taught Dr. Bri some very valuable life lessons. And she incorporates her learnings into the work she does with patients. So, both her expertise in pelvic floor health and her wisdom on life can be felt in the program she teaches to MoonRisers.
