Healing naturally IS possible.
This customer had an 8-finger separation and followed our program with Caroline Johnson.
Closing an abdominal gap isn’t the only benefit that comes with our ‘No Surgery System’ Diastasis Recti program:
- A flattened & toned belly
- Regaining functional core strength
- Ability to participate in exercises & sports without fear
- No more bulging or physical discomfort
- A new and powerful mind-body connection
- Feeling like yourself again.
- Both researchers and surgeons agree that conservative treatments such as at least 6 months of physiotherapy should be the first step of treatment.20
- What’s also clear is that traditional abdominal exercises should not stand alone.21
- DR is a highly complex condition which affects not just women’s bodies, but minds and social lives as well.22 For this reason, the best approaches look at deep core stability, posture, social support, and a woman’s unique individuality and needs.22

The most common things we get asked about Abdominal Separation:
The short answer is yes. Repairing diastasis recti without surgery is possible even if you discover you have diastasis recti after c section or you have a 4 finger gap or more! Our Diastasis Recti coach Caroline Johnson has helped hundreds of women close their gaps, naturally!
How is this possible?
Well, the body is intelligently designed and it is always striving for homeostasis. In other words, you are designed to heal. However, it’s important to know that healing does not just happen by chance (although there are rare cases when it can).
But it’s much more likely that the body heals because it is given the right environment, including safe and effective body, mind, and lifestyle practices, as well as proper emotional support and guidance.
This is why we believe and know that it is possible to fix an abdominal separation without surgery.

“Diastasis is not widely understood in prenatal and postnatal health. In short, this condition is an overstraining or damaging of the linea alba (connective tissue) either through pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum – that is then not able to organically build back up again.“
Dr. Sinead Dufour
Physiotherapist & PhD in Primary Health Care
Our program pillars: Working with your mind and body, never against
Our custom-built programs are 100% natural and founded on our practitioners’ repository of holistic healthcare experience. We operate on the understanding of homeostasis – where every one of your cells is searching for optimal health. And with the right support – your body can get there.
The pillars encompass:
New science shows that diastasis recti can be traced back to your fascia – the connective tissue that runs from head to toe keeping your organs, muscles, bones, tendons, ligaments, nerve endings, and blood vessels in their proper position. The fascia transmits information whilst carrying oxygen and nutrients to every cell in your body.
Diastasis Recti (DR) indicates that the fascia in your abdomen, also referred to as linea alba, has been overstrained, overstretched, and damaged. Usually, this occurs during pregnancy, delivery, or postpartum and the body is not able to repair and naturally build the abdominal fascia back up again. This is why you can feel a gap or separation in your abdominal muscles, which leads to symptoms such as a bulge or pooch in your belly, a weak core, back pain, pelvic floor issues, or constipation.
The No Surgery System helps you activate your linea alba (and myofascial strings) through posture and breathwork, decompressing the scarring and creating a flow of oxygen and life back into your abdomen and pelvic floor. There are multiple methods we offer that achieve this including block therapy, hypopressives, vaginal steaming, DR safe exercises, and more.
Our nervous system – in simple terms – consists of the sympathetic and the parasympathetic systems. They are responsible for regulating the body’s unconscious actions. The former is typically associated with stimulations that trigger the “fight or flight” response, while the latter is responsible for activities such as sleep, sex, digestion, restoration, and urination.
Research shows that activating the parasympathetic nervous system has extremely promising benefits. By working with your body’s own healing engine, we can accelerate recovery.
“The vagus nerve represents the main component of the parasympathetic nervous system. Activating this helps crucial bodily functions, including control of mood, immune response & more.
~ Dr. Sigrid Breit
Physiotherapist and researcher
The Diastasis Recti Coaching Program features physical and emotional processing methods that not only activate your parasympathetic nervous system but also puts it on autopilot. Some of these methods include yoga, breathing exercises, visualisations, emotional release, meditations, affirmations, and gravity support that you can put into practice during times of anxiety, stress, or symptom flare-up.
It is our fundamental belief that your mind plays a central role in wellbeing. Growing empirical evidence and peer-reviewed research suggest that this is indeed the case. This literature supports that women who can disconnect symptoms from their identity and visualise a symptom-free life are the ones who can make it a reality.
“If science shows that our thoughts can make us sick, can the opposite be true?
~ Dr. Joe Dispenza
Chiropractor
The Diastasis Recti Coaching Program can have transformative potential when applied with the right guidance. Proper changes in diet, habit building, bathing routines, sleep support, and herbs & supplements are some of the many techniques that support a holistic recovery. This category seems to be the difference between women who are completely symptom-free and those with lingering, chronic symptoms.
